M Corp was named one of the nation’s fastest-growing private firms today, the second time in as many years.
Inc. magazine, in its annual report on the nation’s fastest-growing companies, ranked M Corp No. 1,159 on the closely watched Inc. 5000 list. M Corp reported an impressive $16.3 million in revenue, a 362% increase since 2009.
Last summer, the company ranked No. 637 on the Inc. 5000, with a 569% increase in revenue during the previous three years.
Fewer than a dozen companies in the Sacramento region have ranked higher on the Inc. list than M Corp since 2009.
“Being named to the Inc. 5000 list for the second consecutive year is clearly an indication that our business plan is working.”
“We continue to reinvest earnings into growing the company and enhancing our proven frameworks and methodologies that leverage our experience from working on – and completing – extremely successful projects,” said Alex Castro, one of the three founding partners of M Corp.
The company, which provides Readiness Modeling, Legacy Modernization, and Business Analytics solutions for government and private-sector clients, started in partner Chuck Czajkowski’s garage in 2003, and later moved to a loft on Enterprise Drive in Sacramento. In June, M Corp moved to the historic Regis Building at 11th and K streets in downtown Sacramento.
The company has a staff of nearly 100, including employees and consultants, with a large majority living in the Sacramento region.
