Job: Project Manager

The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, including overall performance and contract compliance. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating resources, including any subcontractor resources, assigned to the Contract, and ensuring that all tasks in the project schedule are executed in keeping with the schedules and requirements.  The Project Manager will identify any potential problem areas, recommend solutions, and work closely and cooperatively with the contract administrator to resolve issues quickly and fairly. He or she will also provide written status reports regarding actual progress as compared to progress projected in the work plans. The Project Manager is responsible for quality control over all deliverables submitted for review.

Requirements:

• Experience in the role of Project Manager as defined above
• Experience directing and overseeing all phases of a software development, implementation, and maintenance and operations project; inclusive of but not limited to projects involving data conversion, the Internet, interfacing with other systems and databases, training, integration with third party software (e.g., e-mail) and customer service
• Experience managing a small/medium (at least $3 million contract value) development and implementation project
• Experience managing a team greater than (5) people
• Experience working with a diverse set of stakeholders located throughout the state
• Project experience, in the PM role defined above, for state or federal government customers
• Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
